Painting Notes:
It was lovely to paint in one of Savannah's 22 square parks with their resplendent trees heavy with Spanish moss. The Mercer house has a fascinating history. It was featured in a book titled "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" that inspired a movie of the same name. I could listen in on the tour buses talking about the house while I painted.
